Lipedema Surgery Before & After Case 150

This patient sought care with us for persistent swelling and discomfort in her legs due to lipedema. Over time, her symptoms affected not only how she felt physically but also her ability to take part in daily activities. After discussing treatment options and reviewing her examination and imaging, she elected to proceed with Lipedema Surgery. 

We performed two stages of lipedema surgery to address the affected areas, carefully preserving lymphatic structures while reducing abnormal fat deposits. We used power assisted to tumescent liposuction. Her procedures aimed to relieve heaviness, improve leg contour and support mobility. After surgery, she followed a tailored recovery plan, attending regular follow-up visits and using compression therapy to optimize her result.

By the end of her recovery, the patient reported improved comfort in her legs and a significant reduction in swelling. She also described feeling better able to participate in work and recreation. Her before and after photos show the physical changes that matched her functional improvements.
