This patient, a 60-year-old woman, sought help to address significant discomfort and cosmetic concerns related to lipedema in her lower extremities. She described persistent heaviness and pain in her legs, as well as frustration with limited improvement through diet and exercise alone. After thorough evaluation and discussion of expectations, we determined that staged procedures would offer the safest and most effective treatment.

We began by performing high-volume liposuction to remove excess fatty tissue and relieve her symptoms. After an initial recovery period, we proceeded with a thigh and knee lift three months later to further enhance her lower body contour. The photos shown were taken six weeks after the second procedure. The improved contour of her legs is evident; she also reports significant relief from pain and improved mobility.
