Arm Lift Before & After Case 254
Provider: Thomas M. Hagopian MD
Procedures Performed Arm Lift
Patient Age 59
Patient Gender Female
Race White
After a significant weight loss of more than 100 pounds over four years, this patient felt motivated to address excess skin on her upper arms. Despite the benefits of her weight loss, she found that the loose skin often affected her confidence and limited her clothing choices. She chose an extended brachioplasty, commonly known as an Arm Lift, to improve the contour of her arms and achieve a more proportional appearance. Many individuals seek an Arm Lift for similar reasons, particularly after major weight changes.
We performed the extended brachioplasty technique to address the full length of her upper arms. This approach allowed for the removal of redundant skin and improved the underlying shape. Her recovery included standard post-operative care and a gradual return to normal activities. She reported satisfaction with both the aesthetic results and her increased comfort during daily activities.
Each Arm Lift is tailored to the individual’s circumstances and goals. We focused on clear communication and realistic expectations throughout her process. Our role extended beyond the operating room to ongoing support and education, emphasizing long-term health and body positivity.
As a board-certified plastic surgeon, I approach each case with the clinical insight gained from both my surgical training and early career in emergency services. At our Atlanta practice, we value informed patient decisions and use advanced techniques to help achieve reliable outcomes.
